Slicing into the bark of the Myroxylon balsamum tree releases a gum like exudate that solvent extracts into Tolu Balsam Resinoid. Ours is from Colombia. To balance those rich woody depths with vanillic sweetness, we blend in the natural Anisaldehyde molecule, extracted meticulously from Star Anise harvest in Northern India.
